Huckstickler not among finalists at Tyler Lee

For the third time in three years Tyler Lee will have a different head football coach and athletic coordinator.  Interim head coach Randy Huffstickler is not a finalist for the permanent position.

Huffstickler took over the interim head coaching job last June after longtime head coach Mike Owens retired. Lee football finished one and nine.

Tyler I.S.D. athletic director Rod Kaspar has not said who is a finalist for the Lee head coaching job.  Lindale head coach and athletic director Mike Meador was a finalist, but told KLTV that he had withdrawn his name from consideration.
