E. Texas teen, driver killed in weekend wreck

HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Two East Texans were killed in a weekend accident in Harrison County.

According to DPS, just after 12:30 am Saturday, 20-year-old Andrew Philip Foster of Longview was traveling on Hwy 154 in Harleton, when he swerved to miss an animal in the roadway. He went into oncoming traffic and then overcorrected and went into a ditch striking a culvert. The vehicle went airborne striking a tree with it's roof.

Jason Daniel Yaws, 15, of Harleton and Andrew Foster were pronounced dead at the scene.

15-year-old, Aaron John Foster of Longview was transported to a Longview hospital and is in stable condition with minor injuries.

Seat belts were worn.

Services will be held on Wednesday.
