UNION COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - An Eldorado, Arkansas man accused of killing his ex-wife's husband, then kidnapping her and their children was killed Monday morning during a shootout with authorities.
Arkansas authorities also report that Hux's hostage, his ex-wife, Amy is also dead. Authorities have not confirmed how she died.
36-year-old Donald Hux allegedly shot and killed Sandy Huckabee, who is reportedly a distant relative of former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee over the weekend.
Huckabee's body was reportedly found at a home in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, which is about 120 miles northeast of Shreveport.
Huckabee was reportedly married to Hux's ex wife, Amy. Authorities say Hux kidnapped Amy and three kids the couple reportedly had together.
According to deputies in Union County, Arkansas where most of this is believed to have taken place, Hux dropped the kids off unharmed somewhere in Union County.
