TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Trinity Police Department and Trinity County Constable Pct. 1 Office arrested two men Wednesday night in connection to meth deals near a school.

Authorities arrested James "JK" Moody, 28, and Kyle Webb, 18, on Jack Scheffer Road, which is near Trinity High School. Both are charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

According to Constable Woody Wallace, the arrests stemmed from a joint undercover operation by both offices.

In addition to seizing methamphetamines, officers located and seized an assortment of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana, Wallace said.

Moody was also held under a felony warrant for failure to appear on an unrelated possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver charge.
