LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman who pleaded guilty to child endangerment after her child ingested PCP is back in jail after failing a drug test.

Julia Shawentay Godwin, 31, pleaded guilty to the charge in March, accepting a probation sentence.

According to Dustin Fore, a supervisor at the Angelina County Adult Probation Department, Goodwin failed a drug test and was arrested at drug court Monday night.

She will now wait for a hearing in which a judge will determine whether or not to revoke her probation or agree on additional terms with the probation department.

Goodwin was arrested in March after Lufkin Police investigated a child in the emergency room at Memorial Health Systems of East Texas in Lufkin. Staff performed a drug test and found evidence of PCP.
