LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - A horrible report of abuse coming out of Longview, involving a 2-year-old child.

26-year-old Cynthia Gonzalez of Longview was arraigned this morning in court of charges of injury to a child.

Investigators say on December 26, Gonzalez brought her two year old daughter to a Longview hospital with numerous bruises and several teeth missing. The child also had a skull fracture and internal bleeding.

Gonzalez' other children told investigators that she did not take the child to doctors until after they had eaten dinner and opened presents that night.

Gonzalez is being held on $100,000 bond.

The child is at Dallas Childrens Hospital and is expected to survive, but have permanent physical impairment.
