Man injured in explosion at ETX business

A teenager is flown to a Dallas hospital after an explosion at an East Texas business.

The incident happened just before 1 Thursday afternoon in Morris County at a welding shop east of the city of Lone Star.

We're told 19-year-old Robert Huddleston was cutting into a barrel with a torch when the blast happened.

The man suffered second to third degree burns from the incident and was sent to a burn unit for treatment.

Lone Star Police Chief Larry Fleet says, "Didn't appear to be any fire, was just more or less a hot surface coming into contact with a flammable material causing an explosion."

Huddleston is at Parkland Hospital.
