Police: One suspect identified in adult video store robbery, homicide

KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -

Police have identified one suspect in a robbery homicide that happened a year ago in Kilgore claiming the life of 25-year-old Renee Garrett.

Kilgore police say they have identified one of three suspects from DNA evidence found at the crime scene. It happened at the adult video store on Industrial Avenue.

As you may recall, Garrette was found dead from a gunshot wound in the early morning of January 10th. The suspects fled the scene with a cash box.

Investigators are still working on identifying the other suspects in this case.
