Looking for something to watch with the family this weekend?

Released by the First United Methodist Church of Longview:

Combining a unique blend of traditional and contemporary styles, together with inspirational readings, the Christmas cantata is an exciting retelling of the birth of Christ through music and the spoken word.

As usual, the Chancel Choir will be joined by a large orchestra to accompany the cantata and the hymns. We will also be performing the Ukrainian Bell Carol by Mykola Leontovych and "Shepherd's Hymn" from Beethoven's 6th Symphony.

Don't miss this wonderful morning of music, praise and worship as we celebrate the birth
of our Savior, Jesus Christ the Messiah!

KLTV will air the Christmas Cantata for First United Methodist of Longview on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 1:30 PM AND on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at 10 AM.
