UPDATE: Second Wood Co. child sex offender apprehended

UPDATE: The United States Marshal's Office apprehended David Bowman on Thursday.

US Marshals learned that Bowman was in hiding in Ralls, TX. Bowman is being held at the Crosby County Sheriff's Office.

Roni Curry and Bowman are charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. Curry turned herself in on Wednesday.

The details are developing in Bowman's arrest. More information will be posted as it becomes available.


Update: According to the Wood County Sheriff's department, Roni Michelle Curry turned herself in today at 1:21pm on a warrant of continuous sexual abuse of a child, victim under 14 years.

Bond is set at $200,000. 

The second suspect, David Lee Bowman, a white male, age 25 years, has not been arrested for this offense.


WOOD COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Wood County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man and woman accused of sexually abusing a child.

Roni Michelle Curry, 24 and David Lee Bowman, 25, are wanted on charges of Sex Abuse of a Child Continuous. The child was under 14 years of age.
