A series of special events at the Tyler Museum of Art will highlight Black History Month.
From now until the end of February, works by Houston based artist Charles Criner will be on display at the museum.
The paintings depict scenes from Criner's life and show off his cultural heritage. The museum is also planning tours and discussions about the works.
