Harley Davidson holds veterans ride

LONGVIEW,TX (KLTV)- The rumble of iron horses was heard in Longview today , in an annual effort to raise money for veterans organizations. It was the 3rd annual veterans freedom tour at the Harley Davidson in Longview. More than a hundred bikers participated in a ride and activities to raise money for volunteer vet organizations like 'welcome home soldier' and 'operation appreciation', which sends care packages to troops.

"November is Harley Davidson's national military honor month, so today was our day to salute the veterans and pay homage and thank them for fighting for our freedom," says event organizer Robin Saldana.

"Keep our military history alive honor these guys anybody that served is a hero in my book," says Vietnam veteran Kent Chipman.
