Gift of Love: Charlene, Janice and Marquice

A game of bowling brought out the fun personalities of Charlene, Janice and Marquice. These sisters and brother love each other and hope together they can find a family to call their own.

The youngest is Charlene. She loves school and just entered the fourth grade. Charlene is repeatedly on the A/B honor roll.

This 9 year old's favorite subjects include, "math and um reading," Charlene said.

But social studies and science, not so much. When she's not in school Charlene likes to watch T. V.

Her favorite shows include, "Shake It Up and Wizards of Waverly Place," Charlene said.

Charlene is described as outgoing and very friendly. She also likes playing outdoors with her siblings and doing "girly" things like going shopping. Charlene says she wants to be a model or an actress when she gets older.

As for her forever family, Charlene says she wants, "a good family that will take care of us."

Next there is 10 year old Janice. She is in the 5th grade and enjoys all that school has to offer.

"We get to do fun things and P. E.," Janice said.

In fact, Janice likes school so much that she wants to be an educator when she grows up!

"A math teacher or a superintendent," Janice said.

When not at school Janice loves to play outside and hopes to find a forever family that will be active! She enjoys being involved in various community activities and church. Janice hopes to have family outings that include visits to several amusement parks.

"I want to go to Splash Kingdom and Sea World," Janice said.

Another fun fact about Janice, pasta is her favorite food!

"Macaroni and cheese and raviolis," Janice said.

Janice says it's important to be adopted with both her sister and brother.

"Because I love them," Janice said.

The oldest of this sibling group is 13 year old Marquice and like most boys his age, his favorite subject at school is "girls, girls," Marquice said.

Marquice does have some educational difficulties and has an individual educational plan to help address these issues.

When it comes to his forever family, Marquice says he wants a family that knows how to laugh.

"I want to play and have fun and I want them to be nice and stuff," Marquice said.

As for his three wishes, Marquice wants a solid future.

"I would have money, I would have a job and spend it on stuff I need," Marquice said.

Marquice says he's not 100% sure what he wants to be when he grows up but we would like to serve our country.

"I want to be in the army but I don't want to die," Marquice said.

Marquise's favorite color is blue and he loves pizza. Marquice also loves to play football and recently made 3 touchdowns during one of his games.

"I play running back and middle linebacker," Marquice said.

Despite so many disappointments these siblings still want to be together! The right family for these three children needs to have plenty of energy and needs to be ready to play and be active with them. All of the children enjoy outings and church activities and they make friends easily. These children have faced a lot of frustration regarding adoption and are ready to find a forever family that is willing to commit to all of them, showing this deserving trio the Gift of Love.
