UDPATE: I-20 wb re-opened, overturned big rig cleared

UPDATE: 10:00 AM: I-20 has been re-opened after crews finish cleaning up an overnight accident involving an overturned 18-wheeler hauling chicken.

UPDATE 7:15 AM: Traffic is moving again along Interstate 20 near Hwy. 59, just outside of Marshall, Texas. Texas DPS officials have allowed traffic to flow in at least one lane of the interstate.

HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Emergency crews are clearing a wreck that is blocking westbound traffic on the interstate.

According to Harrison County authorities, the wreck happened on I-20 at Mile Marker 619, near Marshall, around 9:30 pm, Thursday and is involving an 18-wheeler transporting chicken that overturned. It is not clear at this time if it was live chickens or chicken parts.

When the call first came in all lanes were shut down on the interstate. At this point, eastbound lanes are open, but westbound lanes remain closed.

There is no estimated time on clean up right now.
