Possible Motive in Woman's Murder

Investigators say they have a possible motive in the murder of a Smith County woman. Tuesday night, a cadaver dog found 62-year-old Carolyn Click buried behind her home in Whitehouse. Authorities say Click's 42-year-old son Tracy Beatty is the prime suspect. Smith County investigators say revenge could be the motive. Authorities say Carolyn Click went missing about a month ago. Investigators say her body was probably buried shortly after that. Beatty has been in the Henderson County Jail for a week on theft and firearms charges. Before that, Beatty served time in prison for violently attacking his mother. Officials say they expect to file capital murder charges sometime after the Christmas holiday.
