Texas Spine & Joint breaks ground on renovation project

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The Texas Spine and Joint Hospital broke ground on their new renovation project today.

Many local government officials, hospital employees and members of the community were on hand at the ground breaking ceremony, including State Representative Leo Berman and Mayor Barbara Bass.

The project will cost a little more than $20 million. It will include updating existing patient rooms and adding critical space. Construction crews have been working on it for the last two years.

Hospital officials say the renovations are creating economic activity and will produce new jobs in the community.
