Constable Found Guilty Of Misdemeanor Charges

An East Texas constable has been found guilty of providing a false report to a peace officer. Those charges against Harrison county constable Robert Hagan stem from an earlier federal case accusing him of stealing Columbia shuttle debris. He was acquitted of those charges.

Wednesday, a jury decided he lied when he told the Harrison county sheriff he didn't keep any debris.  Hagan was given a suspended sentence pending probation. His peace officer's license is currently being reviewed.

    Two men charged with aggravated robbery in connection with a Longview bank robbery, have been indicted. The robbery occurred at the Austin Bank in Longview, on February 9.     Drug raid next to Kilgore college results in several arrests

    A drug raid occurred early this morning near Kilgore College. Kilgore Police Chief Todd Hunter tells KLTV that six people were arrested and a large amount of marijuana was confiscated. The raid was not on campus but occurred next door to the College.  Details are limited at this time but KLTV is working to obtain more information on the arrests. Copyright 2017 KLTV.
