LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An Angelina County grand jury has indicted a Lufkin man accused of driving drunk in a 2009 vehicle accident which killed his father.

According to the DPS report in October 2009, Don Ray Williamson, of Lufkin, was the passenger in a GMC Sierra pick-up, which was northbound two miles north of Highway 103. When the driver, Shiloh Chance Williamson, 21, of Lufkin, veered right onto the shoulder of the road, he overcorrected and left the roadway on the opposite side and struck a tree.

Don Williamson died at the scene.

Shiloh Williamson was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter just hours later.

Since bailing out of jail a few days later, Williamson has been arrested seven more times in Angelina County on eight different charges; five times for public intoxication, once for driving while intoxicated, once for possession of a controlled substance and once for an order to surrender.

Williamson's DWI arrest came just four days ago. He was released on a $1,500 bail.

The grand jury indicted 33 people Friday, including:

* Anthony Antwone Colquitt, 20, of Lufkin, for unauthorized use of vehicle, theft of firearm, assault on a public servant and conspiracy of burglary: Colquitt is accused of stealing the vehicle and gun of former Texas Ranger Pete Maskunas in August.

* William Joseph Bass, 55, of Lufkin, for two counts of sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child: Bass is accused of having a 14-year-old boy watch a pornographic movie with him while Bass masturbated, then sexually assaulting him on two occasions that night in August.

* Sir John Oliphant, 33, of Lufkin, for two counts of harassment on public servant: According to a previous report, Oliphant claimed he had HIV when he was being arrested for public intoxication in July. When two officers tried to apprehend him, he spat at both of them, according to police. Privacy records do not allow jail personnel to confirm whether or not he has the virus. Judge Gerald Goodwin released Oliphant on Friday on a PR bond so that Oliphant can undergo surgery. He will have to return to jail once he has made a recovery.

* Rhonda Lynn Evans, 33, of Lufkin, for three counts of intoxication assault and three counts of aggravated assault: Lufkin Police arrested Evans in May, following a wreck in which injured four people, including girls under the age of 10.
