E. Texans celebrate "Day for Kids"

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - From a bouncy house to face painting and even an obstacle course, it's clear to see that today is just about the kids at Bergfeld Park.

"Day for Kids" was sponsored by The Boys and Girls Club, local businesses, churches and even our own KLTV.

"It's good. I like the fact that they have this for the kids," said Cristina Terracas.

Seven-year-old Evalynn Mosca conquered the obstacle course, and now she is ready to rock climb.

"I'm really excited to do it and I really want to do it. I've been begging my mom really bad," said Mosca.

Kids even got a chance to be in the spotlight and forecast some weather at the KLTV tent. And best of all, "Day for Kids" was free.

"That's even better that it's free. That we can bring our kids out and have fun and not be out of pocket," said Terracas.
