LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man named in a 66-count federal meth indictment has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors, according to his attorney.

Attorney Al Charanza said David Arthur Dunman Jr., 52, will appear before a federal judge in October to officially enter the plea.

Federal prosecutors have dropped charges against a Diboll woman previously indicted on the same federal meth conspiracy case.

U.S. Attorney John Bales issued a request on Thursday asking that Judge Ron Clark dismiss the indictment against Jennifer Jon Holliday, 33. Clark granted the request on the same day.

Holliday's attorney, Ryan Deaton, said he could not comment too much on the dismissal.

"Basically, there wasn't enough information to tie her into the conspiracy," Deaton said.

A federal grand jury indicted Dunman, Holliday and two others, Deana Sunshine Turner and Crystal Leann Keisler, in a meth conspiracy case. The indictment alleged the four bought pseudeophedrine in various stores around East Texas and brought it back to Dunman's house so he could manufacture meth.

The deadline to notify the courts of any plea agreement is Monday.
