TYLER, TX (KLTV) - They gathered with red, white and blue balloons to remember Dr. Brian C. Jack. He worked was on Flight 77 when it crashed into the Pentagon on September 11.

Five years ago, this school was dedicated and named after Jack, who went to Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler.

"We're just overwhelmed and tremendously touched by this magnificent school. We couldn't be prouder," said Terry Jack, Brian Jack's brother.

Students released balloons into the morning sky as a wave of applause moved over the crowd. And, what better way to remember a life well lived.
