Posted: Updated:

UPDATE 9/07/11 1:02 pm: Authorities are evacuating new roads in the Moore fires. Meridian Rd., Spokane Rd., and Omaha Rd. have been evacuated.

UPDATE 6:11pm: Gregg County authorities issued evacuations on both sides of Hwy 135, near Swamp City Road near Liberty City.

Authorities say two plumes of fire flared up near the site of Monday's fire near Cole Bottom Road.

So far, no building have been lost, and a crew of more than 50 firefighters are still on the scene.

As of 1:15 Tuesday afternoon, officials have issued evacuation orders for residents on Swamp City Road either side of Hwy 135 and over to FM 2207.

At this time, there are ten structures being threatened by the Moore fire on Swamp City Road between FM 2207 and Hwy 135.

UPDATE: FM 2207 remains closed between Wilkins Road and Hwy 135 due to Cole Bottom fire.

UPDATE: 7:22pm: The fire is on the west side of the road. Fire Departments have set up dozers loaned to them by independent contractors to protect nearby homes.

Structures are threatened and additional units are returning to the scene.

The Fire Marshal says he expects to have trees down on 2207, blocking the roadway by morning.

UPDATE 6:17pm: Our crew on the scene says the fire has spread west, jumping FM 2207. FM 2207 has re closed.

UPDATE 5:45pm: All of 2207, North Wilkins Road has reopened.

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Gregg County Fire Marshall says crews are concentrating on saving homes near the fire at Cole Bottom Road.

Authorities say the fire has been stopped from moving north.

So far, officials say no homes have been lost, but a couple of sheds have burned.

We're told the fire has jumped from the eastern, to the western side of Cole Bottom Road.

We have a crew on scene and will post more information as it becomes available.
