Wildfire update: Harrison County

HALLSVILLE, TX (KSLA) - The fire that shut down part of Interstate 20 in Harrison County just outside of Hallsville, Texas Sunday afternoon is now contained, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, but several other fires continue to burn around the county.

The evacuation of homes in at Big Oak Mobile Home Park have ended and residents allowed to return. 

As of Sunday night, several fires were still burning around Harrison county, including a large one on Highway 43 S, just north and south of FM 2625 south of Marshall.

Firefighters are also battling blaze near FM 9 north and south of FM 1999 in Waskom.
