It was an afternoon of creative drawing at BLESS YOUR ART for Jasmine and me. This 13 year old is a very confident young lady. She enjoys meeting people and loves to talk with others. Jasmine has a very lively spirit and loves to be engaged in different activities.
Some of her favorite things to do are read, listen to music, shop and of course,"Art. I like drawing," Jasmine said.
Jasmine also likes to be outdoors.
"I like riding bikes. I like riding around playing soccer. Soccer's my sport," Jasmine said.
When it comes to her favorite foods, this active girl likes to eat healthy!
"Pizza, salad, oranges, bananas. I like fruits and salads," Jasmine said.
Jasmine is in the seventh grade and says she enjoys school.
"Reading, Math, Science. And what don't you like? Language Arts, English and I like P. E. but I don't like the part where you have to run on the track," Jasmine said.
Looking forward to the future, Jasmine says there are lots of things she would like to be!
"I want to be an artist, famous biker rider because I can ride bikes really fast and a famous scientist," Jasmine said.
Jasmine has a brother who is also in care. They are not placed together but are able to visit and have telephone contact. At this time it is important to the children that they are able to maintain some sort of contact with each other.
As for Jasmine's top wish, "I would wish to have a very sweet family," Jasmine said.
Jasmine wants a fun and outgoing family. And more importantly a family that can show her the Gift of Love.
