UPDATE: Missing Van Zandt Co. couple back home

UPDATE:  The elderly Van Zandt County couple that have been missing since early Friday morning have returned to their home. Paramedics are currently checking them out for possible heat exhaustion.

VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Officials in Van Zandt County are searching for an elderly couple that have been missing since this morning.

Clyde James Hill, 76, and Patsy Francis Hill, 74, were last seen at their Fruitvale home. They were headed to their doctor's office for a 7:30 am appointment at 1367 Dominion Plaza in Tyler and never made it.

Clyde Hill is 6' tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Patsy Hill is 5' 1" and is a cancer patient.

According to authorities, they were not supposed to drive themselves to Tyler, but wait for their daughter to take them. They have no A/C in their vehicle and their cell phone is still at their home.

The car they are driving is a 1999 maroon Oldsmobile with two yellow ribbon stickers on the back. They have a disabled person license plate; number is 2czzz.

Authorities are out searching for the couple and a helicopter is doing an aerial search for them as well.
