The holidays are just around the corner, so "''tis the season" to start your holiday shopping. That's the theme of this year's event, and that's exactly what East Texans are doing at the 25th annual "Mistletoe & Magic." The shopping extravaganza is put on by the Junior League of Tyler. Proceeds benefit community organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity and Make-a-Wish Foundation.
"It is an excellent event for everybody in the family. We've got things for children. We've got things for your husband and women, home furnishings, wonderful food. There's special events going on the whole show, local choirs, and drama groups performing, so there's a little bit for everybody," said Renee Burnell, public relations chair for this year's "Mistletoe & Magic."
"Mistletoe & Magic" is going on at the Harvey Convention Center. You can shop until 9 tonight, then again tomorrow from noon to 9 pm. Saturday, doors are open from 10 am to 5 pm. Tickets are $5.
