Robbery Suspect Caught On Tape

Tyler Police say one man is to blame for a string of robberies in Tyler and the adjacent county. Two women were robbed at gun point at the Double Rainbow Car Wash on South Broadway around 11 p.m. Saturday night. The robber got away with little cash but he didn't stop there. He moved north to a neighborhood near Tyler Junior College. It was around Midnight on South Palmer street where he pointed a gun at a husband and wife and again demanded money. The suspect took the man's wallet and cell phone and fled. He showed up about four hours later. It was around 4:45 a.m. when police say he robbed the Fast Stop on Old Henderson Highway. Again he flashed a gun and got away with an undetermined amount of money. The suspect was caught on surveillance tape both at the car wash and convenient store. He is described as a white male, medium build, wearing jeans and a black coat. He has a shaved head and tatoos on his neck and above his left ear. If you have any information call Tyler Police or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF.
