BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - An 11-year-old has been arrested and charged with three counts of simple arson for setting two fires on Tuesday and another last week behind a Bossier City hotel.
Tuesday morning, employees at the Bossier Inn & Suites on Diamond Jacks Blvd. noticed a bush had been set on fire. They were able to put that fire out themselves.
At the same time, employees saw another fire in a storage area behind a dumpster that had mattresses and furniture inside it. Bossier City Firefighters were called out for that blaze, and were able to extinguish it quickly. Both fires appeared to have been set on purpose.
About the same time, someone saw three juveniles running from the area. The 11-year-old was caught and booked into the Bossier Juvenile Detention Center.
Police are still looking for the other two.
