TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The investigation into a major theft ring continues today in Tyler.
Investigators from multiple Texas agencies uncovered a theft ring leading to the discovery of close to $500,000 worth of suspected stolen property in a warehouse off of SW Loop 323 in Tyler.
This morning alone, Smith County authorities have closed six theft and burglary cases from stolen property that has been logged in the system so far.
Investigators have found no evidence that drugs were being manufactured in the building where the stolen property was found, but they do believe it is possible someone was living there because of a mattress that looked slept on that was found in one corner.
At this time, authorities have several persons of interest identified and arrest warrants will be issued shortly.
