TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Over 500 bikers packed the Broadway Square Mall parking lot this morning. But, they weren't there to shop. They were there to help out some East Texas students.
It was all part of the 3rd annual "Biker's Rule 4 School" event. Several local radio stations helped spread the word about the event and that's when the bikes came rolling in.
Bikers donated money and school supplies to Smith County schools in need. Afterwards, they took off on their bikes for a ride through school districts in Smith County.
After nearly 3 hours of riding, the bikers arrived at the Sharon Shrine Center where they enjoyed lunch and live music.
