Harley, the 3-legged dog, finds a forever-home

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Harley was hit by a car seven months ago.  His leg broken and infected...the SPCA removed him from his former home. He spent weeks in foster care after his leg was amputated.

Jim and Shannon Lents saw Harley on T. V. and it didn't take long for them to see that he was a very special dog.

"Considering all he's been through, he's come a long ways. And, he's got a personality you just can't help but fall in love with," said Jim Lents.

Jim and Shannon drove from Gilmer to pick up Harley. Their house sits on 35 acres-giving Harley plenty of room to run and play. But, more importantly...Harley will be loved.

The Lents say Harley will join several other dogs and cats. But, one thing is for sure...Harley will be getting the "star treatment."
