TYLER, Texas – A 26-year-old Dallas, Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for distributing cocaine in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.
Guillermo Fernando Rojo pleaded guilty on Oct. 28, 2010, to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and was sentenced to 150 months in federal prison today by U.S.
District Judge Leonard E. Davis. Rojo was also ordered to forfeiture of $50,000.
According to information presented in court, up until July 9, 2010, Rojo conspired with others to distribute more than 15 kilograms of cocaine throughout East Texas.
Rojo was indicted by a federal grand jury on July 14, 2010.
This case is being investigated by the DEA and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Baldwin.
