It's widely celebrated across the world and now some Tyler students are making it a part of East Texas Culture. "Dia De Los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead" is a holiday that began in Mexico. On November 1st and 2nd, families remember love ones who have passed by creating works of art. Sunday that same type of artwork was on display at the Tyler Museum of Art. From colorful masks, to chalk drawings and other traditional works, the only difference, it was created by some Tyler middle school and high school students. The artwork will be on display until Tuesday. Both the museum and TISD plan to make the display an annual event.
