Charity Biker Bash in Longview

The rumble of  "Iron horses" was heard at the Longview fairgrounds today, not for a biker rally but to raise money for the needy. Over 300 bikers attended the first annual Biker Bash, organized by Longview Metro Church to raise money for the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission and the Hope Haven Womens' Center.

Most were from Rolling Ministries, who take their message of hope to those who will hear, and this day they devoted their time to help those in need in East Texas. It was a chance for many to shed the tough biker image for a softer side.

There was a poker run and other contests to raise money... all of the proceeds from which go to Hope Haven and the Hiway 80 Mission.
