Baseball equipment giant Mizuno is recalling 131,000 gloves because "some gloves were found to contain a variety of molds that could cause respiratory or other infections in individuals with chronic health problems, or in individuals who have impaired immune systems."
Mizuno Inc. says the glovers were made in Vietnam and were sold in both Wal-Mart and Target stores between April 2010 and May 2011 and include the following types:
- Supreme Series GSP1251TG, GSP1300T, and GSP1401TG (check date codes too)
- Ballpark Pro MMX122P, MMX115PWM, MMX130
If you feel you or you child is using one of the recalled gloves, you are urged to stop using immediately.
Although no injuries have resulted from the recalled gloves, Mizuno is willing to give a refund to all people who bought the gloves.
