Today, some East Texas students had a chance to teach important Halloween lessons to young trick-or-treaters.
Pine Tree High School students performed their annual Halloween safety play for Pine Tree 3rd and 4th graders. The kids were taught the importance of sticking together and never to eat unwrapped treats.
The play is held each year to educate kids on how to stay safe on Halloween night. Here are a few other safety tips: make sure you travel in groups with adult supervision. Wear costumes that are light in color and have some type of reflective material on them, so you can be seen from the street. And never trick or treat in unfamiliar areas.
