Texas Rangers are investigating a former East Texas policeman and his wife on possible porn charges. Former Hawkins police Lieutenant Richard Wilson and his wife Jeanie were arrested by Wood County sheriff's deputies last month after two alleged female victims came forward saying they had been sexually assaulted on multiple occasions by the pair.
Rangers have been investigating new information that the couple may have been involved in promoting child pornography. Yesterday, the Rangers collected computers that it was believed Wilson used to check for pornographic images while working at the police department. Late today the Rangers say they have not found any pornographic images on those computers.
Wilson and his wife have been indicted on five counts including, sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child, and aggravated sexual assault of a child. What's alarming to many who live and work in the community and had built close working relationships with the pair, is the nature of the charges. While the Texas Rangers found nothing on Richard's work computer, they are continuing the investigation of the Wilson's home computer.
