Agencies Combine Forces For The Sake Of Children

Three years ago 12 law enforcement agencies began working together on child abuse investigations. Tuesday those agencies agreed to continue that commitment.

The law enforcement agencies in Gregg and Harrison counties Tuesday signed their second agreement to jointly work together. Before their joint agreement victims of sexual abuse could be interviewed several times by different agencies. Since the original agreement to work together in the year 2000, over 1,000 children have been interviewed at the Children's Advocacy Center.
