Around 11:20 Saturday night, the Tyler Police Department responded to a robbery which occurred at the Southside Motor Bank on South Broadway Avenue. Officers arrived and contacted a 28 year old female, who reported that she had just been the victim of a robbery.
The victim said she had pulled up to the ATM in her vehicle when an unknown man got in her vehicle and demanded that she withdraw money from her bank account. The suspect pulled the victim's hair and held an unknown object to the back of her head. The woman withdrew money from the ATM, which was taken by the suspect. The suspect then directed the victim to drive out of the bank parking lot and to Bullard Creek Apartments, located at 5621 Old Bullard Road. The suspect got out of the victim's vehicle and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim drove away from the apartment complex and called 911. Tyler Police Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect in this robbery. This case remains under investigation.
