DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A Loveland man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after he was found sleeping naked in a woman's car.
According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, children found Rodney Lee Carter, 24, sleeping in their mother's car. The woman went outside to confront the man and that's when he stole a bath robe from the car and took off on foot.
Police then discovered that Carter was involved in several incidents earlier that night. He was involved in an altercation at Fox and Hound in Deerfield Township. He fled the scene before officers arrived. A little while later, a resident on Irwin Simpson Road called 911, reporting that a naked man, matching Carter's description, was trying to get into their house.
Carter's wallet was found lying in the road on Irwin Simpson. The officer found a group of people who say they saw Carter walking down the road in a red bathrobe. When Carter was located, he was wearing a red bathrobe with a blue bathrobe tied around his waist.
According to the police report, Carter was "obviously intoxicated." Carter's vehicle was found in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Deerfield Township. Inside the car, police found an unloaded Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle.
Carter was found and arrested for disorderly conduct and theft and was booked into the Warren County Jail.
Carter posted bond and his wallet and rifle were returned to him. The police report states the robes were returned to the woman. Police did not say if Carter's clothes were ever found.
