CHAPEL HILL, TX (KLTV) - It took several fire departments and the Texas Forestry Service to contain a large grass fire on Monday afternoon.
The call came in just after noon on Smith County Road 235 near Chapel Hill.
The fire burned roughly 40 acres before fire crews were able to get it contained. The Chapel Hill, Flint Gresham, and Arp Volunteer fire departments all responded.
Officials say that no one was hurt and no buildings were damaged, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
