Longview chamber given a five-star accreditation

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - The Longview Chamber of Commerce was given a five-star rating on Wednesday by The US Chamber of Commerce.

The Longview Chamber ranks among the top three percent of chambers of commerce across the country.

During the accreditation process, the US Chamber of Commerce researched how well the Longview Chamber handled a number of key issues.

"Are you paying attention to what the community needs and what the businesses need? What are you doing to elevate the level of business in the community and your volunteers? They evaluate all of that and then come back to tell us how we rank," explains Kelly Hall, President of the Longview Chamber of Commerce.

This is the first time the Longview Chamber has undergone the arduous accreditation process and hit pay dirt on its first try.
