Reward for ETX store clerk murder has gone up

KILGORE, TX (KLTV) - The reward for information about the murder of an East Texas store clerk has gone up.

25-year-old Renee Garrett was killed in January in an apparent robbery of a video store on Industrial Avenue.

Lamar Advertising has donated a billboard, which now says the reward is worth $15,000.

Police hope the billboard will keep this case on people's minds.
