GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) - A church sign that caused quite a bit of controversy in Georgia came down on Sunday.
There were many people who were upset at the sign in front of the Church of Christ.
One side of the sign quoted scripture from First Corinthians saying, " homosexuals, drunks, and adulterers shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
People in the community wanted it taken down.
Pastor Larry Wright said, at the time, they change the message on their sign every month and were not going to take it down.
