LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Two East Texas parents are in trouble after police say the pair went on a drug binge.

Jason Beasley and Misty Beasley are both charged with child endangerment.

Officers say they were called to the Beasley's home on Clay Street around 6:30 Monday night after Jason told a neighbor someone had killed his wife, Misty.

Police say when they arrived they found Misty asleep and they had a hard time waking her; Jason, they say, was "actively hallucinating", attacking imaginary people with a gun and knife.

The couple's 14-month-old child was found in a crib.

Records show the Beasleys admitted to "having consumed meth" in recent days.

Jason Beasley faces an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officers say they found a film canister in the front of Jason's underwear. The canister contained 13 tablets that appeared to by Soma, a narcotic.
