BOWIE CO., TX (KSLA) -
The Sheriff Office has received another offer of $1000.00 in reward from a citizen for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Amanda Doss and her children. This brings the total to $4,000.00.
Killed were 34-year-old Amanda Doss, 8 year-year-old Texas Johnson and 11-year-old Guinivere Doss.
Autopsies have confirmed all three died from violent injuries prior to the fire that destroyed their rural Bowie County home on Wednesday, May 11th.
Investigators say they do not have a suspect or a person of interest in the case. Texas Rangers and ATF are assisting in the investigation.
The Texarkana Area Crimestoppers Board of Directors is also offering a $3,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of persons responsible for the murders of Amanda Doss, Guinevere Doss, and Texas Johnson. This reward is in addition to the reward offered by the Bowie County Sheriff's Office. Anyone with information regarding this triple homicide, including persons not previously known to be associated with the family, is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 903-793-STOP (7867).
