Bank Robbery Suspects In Jail

Two people are in police custody, charged with robbing a Guaranty Bank branch in Tyler. 31- year-old Johanna Bice remains in the Van Zandt County Jail, while her husband, 28 year old, David Bice is in the Henderson County Jail. Each was arraigned today, with 50-thousand dollar bonds. Police say surveillance video from the roberry is what led some Canton citizens to identify Johanna Bice, who is from Chandler. Tellers say the woman calmly walked into the bank, demanded cash, then walked out. Both Johanna and David, face robbery charges and will be extradicted to Smith County.

    At 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, a strong storm hit Longview.  On Thursday, a team of National Weather Service representatives confirmed that the storm did spur an EF-1 tornado.
