The List: Prosecutors add more witnesses against Anthony Sowell

19 Action News is uncovering new information that could affect the trial of accused serial killer Anthony Sowell.

A list of 23 more people set to be called by Cuyahoga County Prosecutors has just been filed. Another two dozen people who could point a finger at Sowell and say he did it.

The new witness list is an addition to one filed months ago. First on the new list is an Allan Sowell from Maple Heights.

Also on the list, lots of victim family members.

Sowell stands accused of killing 11 women and burying their bodies at his east side Imperial Avenue property. Sowell could go to death row if convicted.

The new list also includes more investigators.

More than a year ago, Cuyahoga County Prosecutors filed a list of dozens of other possible witnesses. Many cops and victims saying they survived attacks by Anthony Sowell.

Sowell heads to trial June 6th, and he's been watching television coverage preparing while sitting in his cell.

19 Action News reported exclusively last week that Anthony Sowell has been watching TV for 10 hours a day on a 15-inch monitor while he's locked up in isolation.

He's reportedly getting the same privileges that other inmate receive.

Will the new witness list help or hurt the prosecution? Only month left until we find out.
