TMF Health at Work celebrates 15 years of service

TYLER, TX - During Occupational Health and Safety Week, May 2-6, Trinity Mother Frances Health At Work celebrates 15 years of serving businesses and workers in the region.

Health at Work offers work-related health care services designed to help employers control the cost and inconvenience of on-the-job injury and illness. Trinity Mother Frances developed Health At Work to meet the occupational health needs of Trinity Mother Frances employees and those of other local employers. In addition, Health At Work offers drug and alcohol screenings, physicals and immunizations for travelers, food service, day care, nursing home workers and others.

"Health at Work provides business owners and corporations a convenient way to take care of their employee's on-the-job needs," said William Swartworth, MD, MPH, medical director, Trinity Mother Frances Health At Work. "We focus solely on occupational medicine, which allows us to spend time with each employee to make sure that we understand and appropriately treat them."

Health At Work services are offered at five convenient locations:

Tyler - 5040 Kinsey Drive, Suite 500. For after hours, Mother Frances Hospital-Tyler Emergency Care Center at 800 E. Dawson and TMF DirectCARE at 5414 S. Broadway.

TMF- Jacksonville and for after hours, TMF-Jacksonville Emergency Care Center - 2026 S. Jackson

    An East Texas boy scout has achieved his goal of raising enough money to purchase 31 bullet proof vests in 31 days. 13 year old Jaxon Holland was raising the funds for his Eagle Scout project and surpassed his goal. Holland raised $18,000 which will cover 34 vests plus accessories. The vests will be donated to the Wood County Sheriff’s office.
