FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) - Police are looking for two men who they say dressed in drag last month and stole a couple of items from a truck stop in Fort Mill.

The incident occurred Friday, April 15, at Loves Travel Plaza at 135 Sutton Ridge Lane.

On Monday, the Fort Mill Police Department said they had issued warrants against Christopher Martae Long, 28, and Dajuanta Kwane Alexander, 21. Both of these men have addresses in Charlotte.

During the incident at Loves Travel Plaza, the Fort Mill Police Department received a call from an employee about a GPS device and a TV/DVD player stolen by two black males dressed in drag.

One of the suspects was wearing a black shirt and black pants. The other suspect was dressed in a teal-colored dress with a white shirt.

Police said the man in the teal-colored dress distracted the clerk. Meanwhile, the suspect wearing all black ran out of the store with a TV/DVD player in his arms and the GPS unit was in his bag. The combined value of both items stolen was about $800.

The suspect in the teal-colored dress then left the store. Both got into a white Kia Optima with SC Tag GMZ909.

When police ran the SC tag number, it was registered to Elvie Pittman who lives at 2262 Pacer Road in Lancaster, SC. Police say Pittman's son is an acquaintance of Long and Alexander.

Warrants have been issued against both men for petty larceny and criminal conspiracy.

If you know where they are, call the Fort Mill Police Department at 803-547-2022 or Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
